All in one TV

PRODUCT

John is supporting Manchester United football team. Tomorrow at 7 pm, there will be a big Champions league final match between Manchester and Barcelona. He is planning to watch this game on his new Panasonic 50” FHP Plasma TV.
His wife, Lara, is working at HSBC bank. There will be finance program on Bloomberg TV tomorrow at 7 pm. She has to watch it.
Their sun, George, is planning to watch Avatar movie tomorrow at 7 pm, which will be the first time on TV. Unfortunately, this nice family has only one TV.

If john had a conventional, regular TV, It would be a serious problem and discussions among all family members. Thanks to new Panasonic technology, all are able to watch different channels at the same time. It is not a PIP function (Picture in Picture). New Panasonic TV can show 3 different channels, which are FHD and full size, on the screen at the same time.

Let’s see how it works, coming soon.

  1. Cool thing, Ahmet! Get me one of these. I suppose in a first stage, being able to watch different programmes in full-HD at the same time will require special glasses that "filter out" the content you defined to see. So for people not wearing glasses the picture will look blurry as the TV is mixing three programmes at the same time. Seeing that technology work without glasses would be the next breakthrough... Cheers Andreas

  3. Just thinking about three family members in front of one TV, watching simultaneously a touchy love movie, a football match and a comedy show...

    joking aside ;-)

I think a solution for avoiding special glasses is to design a screen showing different pictures depending on the viewing angle. Should be realistic.
